I POST AGAIN!
So I've been playing this game for a day or two now and like my response in the previous post, I find this game to be mediocre at best. I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about and why people are so addicted to this game, however the majority of people who have commented on my post seem to be very vocal about their distaste of WoW.
I really don't feel like I'll be addicted to this game because I have much better things to do (and games to play), but I don't want to waste my friend's money so I'll at least try it for a month. But who knows, like one commenter said, it's like heroin. Maybe I just need a longer taste... now if you'll excuse me, I should get back to playing WoW, I'm starting to have ticks. Still not addicted though, I swear!
I've never met anyone who isn't either crazy about the game or full hard on for it. Why is that.

ReplyDeleteNever could get into point and clicks, I can understand the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSigh..
ReplyDeleteWoW is so popular because it runs on pretty much any computer atm, it's got a massive userbase and there's a lot to do in game. People get hooked mainly because when they play MMOs, they interact with others. The get involved with a certain circle and after playing a while, they don't want to lose to each other. This keeps evolving til in the end you get people grinding mindlessly for something they don't even need. Cracked wrote a pretty good article about this, you should look it up if you're interested.
WoW is to my mind, the best mmorpg out there actually. it's sadly not that good but we can't do much except hoping that some good mmorpg comes by.
ReplyDeleteWoW is a good game because the makes at Blizzard know what they are doing!
